We are a family-owned and operated trucking company based out of Effingham, Illinois. You can find our 15 trucks working on construction sites in Effingham and surrounding areas, or hauling general freight and ag commodities in Illinois and several surrounding states.

O U R H I S T O R Y

Scott Huelsing started Huelsing Trucking 33 years ago. What started as more of a side gig and using his own personal semi for farming purposes, quickly grew into a fully operating trucking business.

In those early stages of building his business, Scott operated with just one truck. He stayed consistently busy and decided it was time to add more trucks.

After much thought, Scott grew the company five trucks in one year. Then he added five more trucks the next year, and another seven the next. That brought the total up to 22 trucks. Essentially, it was decided the best size was 14-15 trucks, which is where we are at today.

In 2020, Scott stepped down as the owner of Huelsing Trucking and his daughter Ashley is the current owner and manages the day-to-day operations!

HI, I’m Ashley Huelsing!

As the second-generation owner of Huelsing Trucking, I take great pride in carrying on the legacy of our family owned and operated business. I have worked here for eight years and been the owner for the last two years.

After 33 years in business, we know the importance of creating a great work environment for employees and offer the best training. In turn, we can provide a trustworthy, seamless hauling experience for our customers.

We received a phone call about this 7 year old boy who has been fighting brain cancer since he has been 4 years old. He unfortunately did not get good news recently and they knew it wouldn’t be long. All Whyatt wanted is to be able to ride in a semi and go swimming. A company from up north put together a convoy and we were able to join them!!
